Don't Bother

Don't get me wrong but this as far as it does is a pretty good Gangster story but the why to the one Star is in the 'as far as it goes' because it ends in the middle of what should have been a climatic point and leaves the watcher just hanging. This is the sort of thing I hate and I have others like this. It is most annoying in a case like this when I actually feel the story was pretty good. Still overall I'd love this alone if you are just wanting to stick with the anime.

Wish it could be finished someday

I loved this series and hope someday a company will complete it! Sadly the original animation company went bankrupt during its production. Which is still crazy considering they also animated the iconic series, Samurai Champloo.
There is a manga as well and the series deserves to be completed.

I hope one day the story gets finished

For what it is, this show is pretty good and had so much potential, the story never got finished as the studio that was making the show closed. None the less, the art style, fight scenes, and the way the story was going really made this anime one of my favorites. Nicolas and Worick are quite the duo, they take on jobs for both the police and mafia. Hopefully one day the story will get picked back up. As it is now, I still really enjoyed this anime, I got hooked on it early on. It's a crime, thriller, action/adventure.

Worth it

If you're a fan of the manga at all, the anime is worth having, even incomplete. The mangaka Kohske deals with chronic health issues, and has had to take extensive time away from creating. I really recommend checking out the manga, and this anime adaptation is really great, I enjoy both the sub and dub versions. The story is really unique and the characters are really well developed along the way.
