Gangsta in the hood.

by -

I was ecstatic when I found out that Gangsta was coming out on DVD/Blu-ray format. It was an instant pre-order for me and an insta-watch for me once I got.

The only one big thing that upsets me is the end leaves on a big cliffhanger, but that's due to the hiatus the mangaka took for two years due to their health. So, hopefully with the manga starting back up soon, we'll see a season two and a continuing and closure from the cliff hanger we are left with at the end of the anime. And if that happens, you can bet I'll get the second season as well.

While the items that came with the limited edition wasn't too thrilling, I can't quite complain as they are pretty interesting.

The shipping was quick (a little less than a week) and upon receiving the package, the item was in perfect condition, due to the great care in packaging.

I Need a Gangsta.

Gangsta. revolves around two 'handymen' Worick Arcangelo and Nicolas Brown. They work in a town called Ergastulum which is filled with corrupt cops, the mafia, prostitutes, and people called Twilights or tagged.
This limited edition blu-ray/ DVD set isn't the best but if you like little collectibles from the anime then you'll like the two night club cork coasters and Alex Benedetto's metal tin. The box set can only fit the blu-ray and dvds while the coasters and tin come in a separate box.
I love the anime and give it a 5 out of 5 but this box set gets a 3 out of 5 from me.

Gangsta is gangsta

One of my favorite animes. I really like all of the characters. My one complaint is that it leaves off on a cliffhanger and the studio that made it went under so it’s pretty unlikely the story will continue.

5 star for the series,1 star for the ending

I'll stick with 5 for this review, cause I enjoyed this series way more then I thought I would. I saw it in the sale for super cheap which made me decide to check it out quick on my FUNimation list to help decide if I wanted it, it would have been an instant buy if not for that ending. The cliffhanger is big, I found out the reason is the company that made it went bankrupt so sad. But now I will happily start reading the manga to continue the story.
