Such an unexpected surprise so long after Second Raid!

by

The original FMP was a unique mecha drama mixed with slice of life comedy. Then Fumoffu came focusing completely on comedy, while 2nd raid dialed up the drama. Now comes part 4!

ROSES: It was a very long wait, (making all the "nostalgia nuggets" even more potent.) There is so much depth in the characters, mechs, and plot, including many unpredictable twists. I enjoyed the new characters and the 90's style plotline 1/3 of the way through. The music as always is memorable, with some nice opening and closing songs. (I often put in some FMP music in the background at home.)

THORNS: I felt they dialed the comedy back TOO far in this one. I also had mixed thoughts with the added CGI and including TWO recap episodes in a12 ep series.

OVERALL: It is a solid worthy edition! (BTW, I was equally surprised to see a nice Nendoroid of Tessa released as well!)
