Good release!

Overall, I'm quite pleased with the quality of this release. The video looks good on my television, the packaging is cute, the subtitles are easy to read, the price is reasonable. Including the FrFr! shorts on the second disc is a nice bonus. Unfortunately, one of my complaints about the limited edition collector's box from season two still holds true for season one as well. The box came covered in sticky, gray, glue-like marks on the box beneath the shrink-wrap this time as well, although this time it was limited to the outer edge of the box and not all over the character's faces (as it was on my copy of season two); and fortunately this time, the artwork is not peeling off at the edges as it was on my copy of season two. Overall I'm more pleased with this product than the last one, but if the customer is going to pay extra for the box, it ought to be worth it.

Splash of Happiness.

I am happy i waited to get the bluray release of this anime as the animation looks amazing on my television and the boxset is excellent as always with funimation.

This is a great anime to watch imo even if your a guy as it is about friendship and bonding , there maybe a little fanservice but that is to be expected when it's a swimming anime with hot guys lol.

Worth The Buy!

Contains Extra Shortclips Totally Worth it!

If you are going to buy this set at all I would suggest the Limited Edition mostly because of the box that it comes in. It is double sided and features two different images on each side with a gloss in a few areas to give off a water effect which I've never seen another LE box with this feature. The cases also feature fun new art as well I just wish the cases themselves were labeled with the Blu-Ray or DVD since I always tend to open the DVD one when I'm trying to get the Blu-Ray's out.

The anime itself is MOSTLY for the female audience, but beware it does contain BORDERLINE yaoi (Not full fledged Love Stage/Junjo Romantica) but you can definitely sense the connections between the characters or simply ignore it.

This also includes the short clips of "FrFr" which are like tiny OVA's and they're definitely worth having!
