Good Horror classic manga

by -

I really love the stories of Junji Ito. This is a good classic horror manga but it isn't one of Junji's best works. The main story (Frankenstein) lacks a bit of the bizarre and crooked style that so characterizes this author, even so it's a good tale. It also includes 6 stories of a student (Oshikiri) who lives in a mansion where strange things happen; These stories contain everything one expects from Junji's stories and I loved them.

As for the material of the book as such it's excellent; the cover is hard, of great quality just like the pages, the seams of the book are strong. It is a book made to last for years. As always it comes well packed like everything from Right Stuf.

Junji Ito tribute to Mary Shelley

by

I was not expecting this adaptation however in his own style Junji Ito gives life to this cult classic with a creepy style which shows another version that it totally worth it. This is also a compilation of stories, Frankenstein is the bigger one, the rest are some short stories which are great as well! A great tribute to Mary Shelley!

Junji Ito does it again!

by -

I'm so happy! I've been collecting Junji Ito books for a while now and since the beginning, I've been super interested in Frankenstein. Ito exceeds my expectations with every read, I expected nothing less from him! I enjoy Ito's illustrations and creativity, I look forward to grow my collection of his work. The only thing I would change about this Manga would be for it to be on color!

Rough start that ends well

by -

I was already familiar with the original Frankenstein and found myself pretty bored until the end of the story. I still recommend it though because it includes extra chapters at the end. I though it was all going to be Frankenstein!
