Hot blood meets shaky composure

by -

Soma and Megumi are the focus of this volume, with Megumi's inherent shyness reacting rather... poorly to Soma's constant energy and competitive nature. We see her struggle to cope with the pressure of a partner who constantly pushes the boundaries, and the attention that comes with it. Whether she grows from the experience will have to be up to her.

The book itself arrived on time and in good condition.
The book's writing is well informed on the complicated aspects of picking out the best fish, aging it, and (of course) cooking it. It is especially interesting as a new character is introduced (no spoilers) and more of Ryo's background is uncovered. The only unfortunate thing is the awful cliffhanger at the end that makes you want buy the next book ASAP.
