Started off strong and then ends off slow

I picked up this manga not long after I watched the anime because I really enjoyed it, but the ending ticked me off and I wanted to know what happens next. The manga was a bit of a mixed bag for me. The first volume is what drew me into the story, but with each volume following, the story just slowed down and didn’t have as much impact, but it did keep me reading. I did like the final chapter cause, without giving much away, it shows the world through someone else’s eyes. Reading the manga was bittersweet to me. I liked knowing what happened next, but the slow down and subpar ending just didn’t do much for me. It was a growing up tale and getting over your past, which does make you think what certain things mean. These things did confuse me a bit but like with the main character and Baudelaire’s book, if I read this later on in life, I’m sure I will understand and appreciate it more. Overall, this manga started out strong and ended off slow and completely different on where it started.
A Must Read

This has been one of my favorite reads in 2020 so far. Definitely a change of pace and a different style than other manga. It is a fast read and the art is amazing. I was hoping for more collaboration between two of the main characters, that's why i gave it 4 stars.
