The Seven Fire Force soldiers of company 8
by MKY -
Since the show involved 'David Productions' along with Madhouse/White Fox studios, I knew the animation scenes would be good. Very impressive battle scenes that are stunning/exquisitely done thus far in season one. And the neon glow of the uniforms worn by the 'Force' in the darkness was flashy too.
Besides the great animation sequences, the musical score was very good, and includes just enough back-stories on key characters to keep you interested. The narrative features an alternate universe of Earth, and nuns/sisters are assigned to each company unit for soul saving prayers. Plus, consists of Fire Force members with 'Pyrokinetic' abilities that harness fire and/or heat in an unusual manner to place the 'Infernals' to rest.
What I also liked about "Fire Force" season one; there's mystery, supernatural powers, pyrotechnic action, Super Hero Genre, and a yet unknown enemy(s) in the show. But expect some fan service scenes as well. Enjoy in 1080p / 16:9 format.
