Fuyuki City will be changed forever following the events that will come to be known as the Fifth Holy Grail War. With the Masters and Servants slowly revealing themselves and their intentions, the stage is set for the grand finale. At the center of it all are Shirou Emiya and Rin Tohsaka.

The Holy Grail War continues, with each Master and Servant duo making their move for the omnipotent wish granter. Caster’s plans have been set in motion, beginning with taking Saber captive while Rin and Archer go their separate ways to continue their fights on their own. Without Saber’s aid, Shirou’s principles are put to the ultimate test. With many battles to come with expected and unexpected enemies, Shirou’s resolve begins to take form. Are his desires to protect people and become a hero genuine? Or are they simply borrowed feelings? Will they be enough to carry him to the end?

Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works Limited Edition Blu-ray Box Set 2

by

I love this series as much as I did Fate/Zero but I refuse to pay the exorbitant price that is being asked-I found a much cheaper alternative (but you'll need a multiregion capable bluray)-nuff' said.

For hardcore fans ONLY!

by -

It's 12-13 episodes for $220 MSRP. That's like !17 per episodes! The ENTIRE show is on Netflix which is under $10 a month so there's that if you really want to watch this series. FS/N UBW 2014 is great and it follows up Fate/Zero well. I do hope they Ufotable revisit the Fate route after HF.

In this you get a beautiful outer box(amazing quality), booklet, soundtrack and card along with Season 2 of the show. It's expensive but it does feel premium. Is it worth $180? I say yes ONLY if you are a hardcore fan. If not, stream it.

They're crazy

by

They are absolutely insane if they think 12 episodes are worth $180! ESPECIALLY since the complete series is available for streaming on Netflix - subbed AND dubbed!

If they really, really badly don't want to sell too many copies here, then I guess I have to oblige and not buy it.

Fate stay night unlimited blade works

Outstanding action and very well done animation from Ufotable. Well worth the price for each season.

Gorgeous Anime

by -

Ufotable really shines in this anime, even more so than Fate/Zero or Kara no Kyoukai. Yes it is expensive, we all know that, but I can't say I regret my purchase one bit.

Amazing Set and Show!

The show:

This show is fantastic. If you haven't watched this and Zero yet, you should do so as soon as possible! You will not regret it!

The release:

As others have mentioned, this set is a big upgrade from the fate zero sets, let alone aniplex's standard releases these days. Definitely pick these up before they go OOP. (probably within the year!)

Best F/sn series gets a release worthy of its greatness

by -

Yes, the price for this series is really high. Part of this has to do with the popularity of the series in Japan, it includes an English dub, and part of it is that it includes premium packaging that includes the second OST CD. You get a lot of extras for the price. Is it worth the price? Only you can answer that, but for me, given how much I enjoy the series, the answer was a resounding YES.

Video quality is high, with super high bit rates. Audio quality is LPCM stereo in English or Japanese, and both sound fantastic.

The non-import version, which is this set, includes an English translated, full color book that was worth reading.

The chipboard box is rigid and well designed, and overall the release feels as Premium as it should at this price IMO.
