A Great Epic Showdown!
by ANOMANO -
This manga adaptation does a great job pacing the scenarios of the anime while not rushing into the plot. The Fate universe has always given lots of time to develop the characters and their conflicts while fleshing out its complex plot and adding some really cool action. This manga delivers in all of those places while offering some beautiful and unique art. Also, Saber in a suit!!
A good start to a GREAT series!

If you are already familiar with the Fate/ series you will need little convincing that this is another great issue. If you are not, I recommend reading Fate/ Stay Night first since FZ is the prequel to FSN.
The story starts off slow, introducing characters and motivations, like its predecessors. The art is crisp, making eye catching fight scenes and easy to read text. We even get a few color pages!
I am a big fan of action manga and this one has characters that keep me interested. Can't wait to read the rest!
