Great series, and a great release

As a huge Fate/(anything fan) starting from the original visual novel to now! This set was a must buy as soon as I saw it was being released!

The animation and art is excellent, one of the best I've seen in a long time. Aniplex really pulls through with a great release!
If I had any issue it would be with the sound balance during one scene, with the english dub. The sound effects are crystal clear, the voice volume on the other hand seems like it was set to low, making it difficult to hear the characters dialogue. This only last for one scene and really doesn't impede the enjoyment of the overall show however.

Over all 100% happy with this!

A roller coaster for sure

Fate/Apocrypha makes me kinda mad. In the one hand, I feel each Fate spin-off is unique and adds something new to the franchise. In that regards, Apocrypha absolutely delivers. The premise of this series is pitting two competing teams of mages (Black and Red) with their respective servants in an event called the Great Holy Grail War. The winning team then would be expected to compete against each other in a regular Holy Grail war. The possibilities of this scenario just made me salivate. "Oh, the twists and turns, oh the betrayals!" I thought. But then, Apocrypha falls very short of its massive potential. In essence, it's greatest sin is being a little bit generic in a world ripe with possibilities. In the end, I enjoy Apocrypha for what is and do recommend it for Fate fans (and that final fight in Part 2 was unbelievable), but in the end I know it could've been so much more. As usual, Aniplex delivered a beautiful package here. No complaints there.
