Under-rated series
by McD
I have read this series online more times then any other, and I have read a LOT of series. It is very heavy on the laid back and daily life aspect, with a small seasoning of action added here and there. But it is mostly just about the dude creating his own town, meeting new neighbors and farming. I don't know what the draw is, but i really enjoy reading it once in a while. Definitely supporting this series now that it is releasing in the US. My next target is the web novel.
Building a Town Manga

I am a little conflicted on the story. It is great if you like the genre type. You have a guy with a cheat tool who unites many ladies from different races to build up a town. I think of it as a manga version of a clicker game. You click, things get built, you see cute ladies, and life moves on at a slow pace. All the main girls are in love with the main guy. If that is for you, you will get it in spades here (pun intended). I put a three star because it was ok, but I am not a big fan of that genre.
Like reading someone's diary about their job.

I made it half way through this volume before cutting my loss. It lacks humor or some other aspect that makes it interesting. In fact, it reminds me of someone describing their day to day activities on their job. I'm a big fan of the Isekai genre, but, couldn't find any redeeming qualities in this one. I gave it two stars because, like the previous reviewer, it may appeal to others just not me.
relaxing anime with some comedy, not a lot of story depth

This volume in particular is great. As you get past this volume, the story dives into a checklist-like story. For example, three chapters might discuss how he met a new species of girls, create a new crop, scared enemies away with pets (no real action scene), create a new entertainment/board game, build the house, etc. Each of these would take a few panels.
Like watching a sims game except you have no controls. The art is great, story doesn't have depth so far.
