The Example of How Weird Anime Can Get

FLCL or Fooly Cooly is the story of Naota has he lives in a boring town where nothing ever happen... except giant fighting robots, aliens, gods of death, secret organizations and meteors. The show incorporates everything crazy and different that exists in anime making it a kind of sample of everything all at once. The story is insane and almost nonsensical but due to it being the interpretation of the puberty stricken mind of the main character is to be expected.

Honestly FLCL is something that is confusing, strange and different form most shows. It is made by Gainax which says a lot if you know of the company such as that they also made the wacky Panty & Stocking with Garter belt. If you want an anime to say wtf over then this is way up on that list.

First impressions are deceiving

Gainax studio outdid itself this time, they made one of best critically aclaimed anime that you may find.

FLCL is deceiving at first time, it hides behind a courtain of randomness and ridiculous stuff an deep core that talks of what it means to be an adult

The insights on the character are excellently showed with the use of imagery. The OST adds lots of enphasis and enriches the message.

A highly enjoyable crazy Anime, and one of Gainax's best productions.

FLCL is an anime that i bought on a whim during a sale, and it's one of my favorite series. It can be watched in one evening due to it's six episode length, and it's made by the legendary Gainax. The animation is superb, and the english dub is fantastic.
