About Emma Manga Omnibus Volume 4 (Hardcover)

Emma omnibus volume 4 features story and art by Kaoru Mori.

With the postmark of Emma's last letter--and his heart--guiding him, William makes a bold journey across the Atlantic to begin his search for Emma in the town of Burnley in the United States.

Even if he finds her among the hundreds of new arrivals from England, the life ahead of them will not be an easy one. The broken engagement of the Viscount's daughter has set him--and, through him, all of London society--against the Joneses, and it will take time to rebuild those business and social relationships.

Even more difficult will be convincing society that Emma is worthy to join their ranks despite her humble origins. With dogged persistence, patience, and a little help from Mrs. Molders, Emma and William aim to carve out a place in this world where their love can thrive at last!

Timeless love story!

Beautiful story and lovable characters. You might think it's just one of those Cinderella-type stories but you might be surprised!

A bit of a rushed conclusion + Side Stories!

by -

Removed a star because everything felt a bit rushed to me, the conclusions at any rate. It's still great overall though!

SPOILERS (maybe):
We see Emma being out of depth (but doing her best) attempting to learn the intricacies of the ton, her bashfulness with William, the support of the Molders' family and staff and Aurelia (the rest of William's family is still rude or at least non-accepting about everything).
We STILL don't see any wedding, but there IS an engagement. And we see her going out in public with William (theatre , maybe?) but it's a very short scene, we don't even see the reactions of the ton. After that it's the end. That's it? Yep, that's it (maybe the wedding and what follows will be in vol. 5?)

Side stories included here are Mrs. Stowner's and her husband's visit to the Crystal palace, Earnest and Eleanor (first time we get a glimpse of the other sister, Countess Bradford!), Tasha's family, a bit about the Viscount's ex-mistress
