A blitzkrieg of story beats

As of the time of writing I haven't seen the anime.
Drugstore in another world throws out all the normal prepositions and jumps straight into the main story. The author drags us from story beat to beat without any extra "fluff" which to me makes the story feel like it's traveling at break neck speeds. Though I will say no scene overstays itself and many of the more generic moments fly by which if like me you've read a lot of isekai the overlaps are hard to push through when they're just like 6 other stories you read.
Overall I enjoyed the story and will happily read more going forward.
