Having defeated Boo, Goku is starting to get bored with his life on Earth. His wife, Chi-chi, wants him to get a job, but all he wants to do is train and fight stronger enemies. However, he might soon regret his wish for greater challenges, as one is on its way right for him!
Elsewhere in the universe, the God of Destruction, Beerus, and his attendant Whis are traveling from planet to planet in search of food and entertainment. After blowing up some hapless victims, Beerus is reminded of a man from his dreams with the moniker “Super Saiyan God,” or something like that. A truly good shonen jump rebirth

This is a great title, the pacing is great in this manga and you should not be bothered that there's a new artist because it looks so identical to Akira toriyamas works. The only problem I have with this manga is I feel bad for for the people who read it and didn't see the dragon ball super anime nor the two movies because it literally skipped a part in the anime and movie, heck it even skipped the resurrection f arc. Either way this was a fantastic manga and really think fans of akira toriyamas works will enjoy it

excellent art work the story is great it kicks off to the main part the series after the two movies I am glad they brought dragon ball back great fight scenes with got anime even better deal don't have wait a couple of volume's for it to get interesting it already is.
A strong start

This was a pretty solid beginning to Super, in my opinion. It flows way faster than the anime, and it just assumes that you've seen A) Battle of Gods, and B) Resurrection F, and I really appreciate not having to see these arcs again for a third time. By the end of the first volume, we're already partially through the Universe 6 & 7 invitational, and that actually surprised me a lot. While I wouldn't say this is absolutely essential to any manga collection, for Dragon Ball fans, and battle shounen in general, this was entirely a good read, and way better than the show, if you ask me.
I’m a big fan of anything Dragon Ball and this new manga doesn’t disappoint.
