A hidden gem of a series

I am quite fond of this series, and I wish more people know about it. Dogs: Bullets and Carnage has simply gorgeous artwork, and the packaging by Viz itself is top notch. It's been a while since I've resisted the story, but from what I recall, it uses tropes in a way that didn't feel stale. I really enjoy this series, and lookout forward to reading more in the future.

ONE OF THE BEST MANGAS SERIES EVER!! Great story that's always getting better, characters, lots of awesome action, and they mixed some humor in that always blends in naturally with the story and its never boring! My favorite character is Badou "The Gun Smoker"
Good Action Series

Dogs is a solid action, sci-fi series. I won't go into a synopsis, but I found the characters interesting, and wanted to learn more about the mysteries of the world/city they inhabit. Only complaint is that during this first volume, I found some of the fight/action scenes hard to follow (i.e. What's going on? What just happened there?).
BUT...Do yourself a favor and make sure you read "Dogs: 0 Preludes..." first. It serves to introduce many of the characters that appear here. I had heard somewhere that Vol 0 was just side stories that you can skip, but that is wrong! I was confused the first volume or two until I went back and read 0.
FYI: Explicit rating is likely for violence and infrequent nudity. Violence is frequent, but nothing too gratuitous/gory. Throughout the entire series thus far (Vols 0 - 10), boobs/nipples appear maybe three or four times only? Character has a scar on her chest. Not really shown in a sexual context.
