The Beloved Lovely Angels!
by JONATHAN -
The Dirty Pair franchise is a classic sci-fi girls with guns anime from the 80s that has a sexy, fun, and smart tone. You have the two iconic characters Kei and Yuri who work for the 3WA as Trouble Consultants and have their infamous nickname by the damage they cause during their adventures.
What makes these characters so engaging is how three dimensional they are. Kei and Yuri can be shallow and petty then turn around and be totally ruthless, smart, and efficient. They may poke fun at each others flaws but when duty calls they work in perfect synergy with one another. Given the nature of their assignments they're aren't above anything to get the job done whether through sheer cunning or their feminine wiles to lower their enemy's guard.
From ear catching and memorable Russian Roulette opening to the mesmerizing Space Fantasy ending this cult hit will send you on a fun wild ride. And make you fall in love with the Dirty Pa...uh I mean The Lovely Angels!
A classic series still looks great
by Christopher -
This series is a lot of fun and still looks great given it's age. I hadn't seen it before, and figured the episodes might seem a bit same-sy, but there's a lot of different types of episodes which kept the series fresh throughout. I'm glad I got the chance to watch this.
