More slapstick than romance

The story, while entertaining, was definitely nothing to write home to Mom about (although you shouldn't be writing to Mom about this kind of thing!). The concept of a d--- fight (which is seen as completely nonsexual to everyone, go figure) to determine the king of the tropical island chain they all live on is a little silly, and more of a funny gimmick to get the hot guys to do H stuff with each other. The art and character design is typical Ike Reibun: masculine, clean, and sexy, so if you're a fan of beautiful manly men, it's worth a look; if you're a fan of her work in general, for the novelty of the story alone it's worth picking it up. There are old and new romances blooming, of course, between of the fighters but it's left open ended for the next volume.
Again, it's not horrible but not her best. I will still buy the next volume just to see how it ends and to support Ike Sensei.
Light-hearted story, great for laughs.

This was my first BL manga... to be honest I really enjoyed it. It's a really funny story, and has some beautiful romances blooming! I'm excited to read the next volume and I can confidently say I will be buying more BL series!
Very inconsistent censorship

Ok, if you want uncensored...this is only 33% of the time for you. I have no idea why some depictions of the penis are uncensored and others are black bar censored or glowing penis with just the outline censored but it was really annoying and took me out of the erotic parts what few there were that were not just situational H related hijinks. Its like who ever was put in charge of localizing this, they fell asleep at the wheel and only removed the typical censorship you see in manga in every other occurrence.
Worth a Read

Okay so no its not perfect, But for a borderline "comedy" bl it has a fleshed-out world. The art is very beautiful. The one thing I absolutely loved about this story was the side relationships, one of them is unironically wholesome.
This is a very smut-heavy volume though but I'm sure anyone could guess that. Overall I think its worth the money it's pretty horny but It also made me laugh a lot.

The story was pretty funny. It's more of a comedy than a romance unlike other BL manga. It's smut-heavy and it's not a story that suppose to be taken seriously. Overall, it was enjoyable if you're looking for some comedy.
LMFAO, but the Plot was Drawn-Out

This was absolutely HILARIOUS! I was just fudging rolling! The smut is pretty amazing. I mean, these guys are fighting and trying to make each other "come." I do have to say that it did get boring though. After twenty-some pages of smutty fight scenes, the plot started to feel drawn out. Overall, it was an enjoyable read that I would buy again. In fact, I'm looking forward to manga two. But if you are looking for a serious manga, this is NOT for you.
