Fun fantasy comedy you will enjoy

If you would like to see a demon king being a amazing worker in a fast food restaurant and living a hard life then you would enjoy this series. When reading I really enjoyed what kind of things maou thought where interesting while they were just normal for regular people. And not just maou but all the other characters are really enjoyable, my favorite being Alciel. The art in this novel is also really nice both in color and black and white.

The Devil is a Part-Timer (Novel) 1

An entertaining story about a demon king who escapes from a fantasy world and tries to survive in our modern world.

✓ Main character acts like an underachieving minimum-wage worker but has the characteristics of a king beneath the surface, great introduction to Japanese society and culture, more details than the manga adaption

✖ Rival's characterization is somewhat unoriginal and predictable, grammar and punctuation errors, obvious editing oversights (attributing dialogue to the wrong character)

Type of Novel: Foreigner-Moving-to-Japan Simulator
