Finally

by

Chances are the we won't be getting a second season for the anime, which is why we should be relieved that the manga is seeing a English release. The art style unique and different from the anime, but that is a good thing.

A great purchase for fans of manga and anime. You won't regret it, go for it.

I love this series!

by

Recently I started to watch the anime on Netflix, I was laughing so hard and grew to love the series. Then I heard Yen Press was going to release the manga which I was excited. I brought the first two volumes. It's very faithful to the original source and the anime did that very well.

I will continue to buy this series when more volumes are released. 5/5

A must-have manga!

by

The anime adaption was hilarious; so after much obsession over this anime, I decided to buy the manga collection to enjoy "The Devils a Part-Timer" once more. I indeed haven't fully purchased the complete set, but I attend to get there once I finish collecting the Evergreen and the Higurashi manga series. I do recommend any lover of Slice of Life to purchase this manga series from RightStuf. Oh and this may be false, but there may be an upcoming new season soon, due to the new manga opening of The Devils a Part-Timer: High School.

A pleasant surprise

by -

One thing I am always apprehensive about when I start a new series of Manga is the translation to English. It doesn't happen nearly as often as it did in the early days when Manga was just appearing in American markets but once in a while for whatever reason you will find one. This Manga, needless to say, doesn't suffer from this issue actually it blows me away how it doesn't seem to take shortcuts or try to simplify scenes. I am not usually impressed by dialogue since I usually enjoy art styles but I have to tip my hat to the individuals working on the dialogue it is simply great.
As far as the plot it actually picks up rather quickly and goes right into a crisis. The main characters feel well fleshed out as well as side characters. The art style feels rather simple with many close-ups and even when they have scenes of the exterior environment it's a very simple drawing like an apartment building or a tall office building with a tree. It's not beautiful but it gets the job done.
