Impressive Action-Packed Second Cour for Demon Slayer
by MKY -
Another memorable anime with this second season regarding the combat animation in this 11-episode story arc. The fighting sequences are top tier and kept me on edge while waiting/wondering the outcome this time around for season 2. Be it "Fate/Zero", "Heaven's Feel", "Fate/Stay Night", or "Garden of Sinners" the battle animation scenes by Ufotable are outstanding in their animation productions. Nice additional story with Rengoku's Father & son, and Tengen Uzui's past friendship with Rengoku as well.
The opening and closing songs are by Aimer who also did the songs for "Heaven's Feel 2 & 3", "Vinland Saga", and 'Chainsaw Man" so she has been singing for other top shows/movies too.
The chipboard box is the same height as the "Mugen Train" previously released Movie and TV box, discs are kept in flip-trays in over-sized cases, and once again, you get five 'booklets' aka 'video scrolls' with production art/information within, and the 6 CDs are filled with good soundtrack music.
Please stick with one type of releases

The best arc so far and a must buy if you love Demon Slayer as this is the best way to watch it. However, I'm not a fan of having my collection be different from each other and this one is because Aniplex decided to use the oversized DVD cases and chipboard box for this release while the first season uses regular blu ray cases. I thought the train arc was ok so I just bought the regular set for those but, the entertainment district arc is awesome and it would had been more awesome if my limited edition sets matched each other. My only gripe is, if Aniplex uses blu ray cases then please stick to it. If it's DVD cases, then stick to that as it'll keep the collection looking the same. Now, I have a very nice blu ray set for season 1, regular blu ray set for the train arc and a really nice blu ray in DVD set for the entertainment district arc.
