It’s still Honey.

The art cards are done very well and the art book is acceptable. As for the Anime there’s been mixed views about particularly Honey’s iconic theme song for legal reasons Toei would not let them use it so they had to change it you can get the modern version of Honey’s theme song by Luz in ITunes or go on YouTube. The story itself was not bad it definitely has what you expect from works from Go Nagai but seemed rushed I think this should have been more than 12 episodes to flesh out the characters more and certain character dynamics like Honey/Genet and Sister Jill/Tarantula Panther. The English dub was decent the actress who played Honey in the 90’s OVA reprised her role so it was a bit nostalgic overall while a lot closer to the manga when compared to Cutie Honey’s previous incarnations I would say this is the weakest link so far but it’s still worth getting if you’re a fan of Cutie Honey or just a fan of Go Nagai.
