A Great Read

This manga caught my attention not just because of the author...but the premise of it! It's a short volume but, very full in content! I was blown away and I cannot even begin to describe all the feelings that I experienced with this manga. Truly a good read (at least to me it was).
a sad story by a classic manga-ka

Seven Seas has done an amazing job bringing this classic to english readers. I'm so glad I finally got my hands on it! I want to caution those who aren't familiar with Riyoko Ikeda or the year 24 group, that this story does not have a happy ending. But I still wholeheartedly recommend it. It's beautiful and wonderfully melodramatic. If you aren't familiar with Riyoko Ikeda, you are missing out. Her influence on shoujo manga, and even elsewhere, is apparent as soon as you see her first pages.
Trigger warning for book: suicide.
