Ryo Saeba, the legendary City Hunter, is keeping busy in the city that never sweeps. Whether he's hired as a bodyguard or troubleshooter, or just works for free as a friendly neighborhood avenger, Ryo never misses his target. But between crooked cops with yakuza connections and a return of the mafia organization responsible for Ryo's original partner's death, the streets of Shinjuku have never been more dangerous. Luckily, Ryo doesn't have to go it alone.
Of course, there's his partner Kaori, who keeps Ryo's raging libido in check with her multi-gigaton mallet...and Ryo's hulking frenemy, Umibozu, the other alpha sweeper in town, who may actually be in love this time around. And now, Ryo's got a new rival-ally in private investigator Reika Nogami, sister of Tokyo top cop Saeko. Working together, these hunters are determined not to let evil sweep the innocent...or even themselves...under the rug.
