Subpar anime transition for a visually stunning manga

by -

As a huge fan of the Citrus manga, I honestly felt the transition to anime form wasn't up to expectations. Purchased it to show support and as it's manga fan.

The Japanese voice cast for Yuzu and Harumin were not to my liking. The English cast for the two were a bit closer to my liking and how I felt they would sound if given voice. This coming from a huge Japanese voice fanatic.

Nothing stood out at all from the BGM soundtrack. At times, I cant even recall if the show even had any BGM. That is how forgettable the soundtrack was, it wasn't even registering at most times.

The overall product is nice. A sturdy case which is rare with the blue bluray cases and lovely artwork by the manga artist printed on the disks with a reversible case insert.

Heartbreak anime

It’s an amazing anime, it’s not the complete Manga it’s only the first 4 I believe. The adaptation is still amazing and hopefully they’ll be a 2nd season. Voice acting is A1, really hope they come out with a limited edition form. I would also suggest read the manga because Jesus it’s such good writing both in the anime and manga.

Very nice yuri anime

by

Very nice yuri anime. I have never read the manga. I'm happy to say that this show was interesting to watch. The group of characters develop from static to a more rounded outlook of life matters. And the animation had a couple very nice technical scenes to watch. On the other side some of the CG animation was a lesser quality then let's say a "Gameboy". The groups of students and townsfolk look awful, a little more then zombies. I can't remember any sound track. I still like this anime and will watch it again.
