Upon hearing this his old friend may be getting married, Tora runs home to steal his old teammate's heart away.
Three years ago Tora and Ryota were an unbeatable pitching duo. The two were feared on the mound and were admired off. These days, Tora is a himbo ne'er-do-well and Ryota is slaving over ramen in his hometown.
Furthermore Ryota is being set up for marriage by his family. So when Tora hears that his old partner might get taken off the board, he makes a beeline for home hoping to score big with his old teammate.
The love between two former ball players can be a little bit of a swing-and-a-miss and a little bit of a homerun. But either way some one is going to score in this romance-comedy!

Not entirely what I expected

I picked this book up on a whim and was rather surprised to find that this book is a bunch of short stories. The description of the book on here only covers the first two stories. The next two stories are significant age gap couples which was something I was not expecting. The following story was a smutty group scenario. The last story felt like the most tame and was an almost sweet premise. All in all this book was both what I was expecting (a smutty BL) and yet not from the variety of stories that definitely weren't all my cup of tea. The art was good, writing was fine, and the paper was good quality. If I had one real complaint it would be the large unnecessary sticker on the dust jacket that is a pain to remove.
Not What I Expected

It's official, I LOVE Kuma products. Their paper is so nice (smooth and like card stock) and they pick pretty good stories overall. That said, I did not expect this to be a collection of stories (which I don't particularly like to read). The main story only has two chapters and I wanted it to be longer. That said, all the stories are good and fairly cute. There is a lot of smut, however, the eggplants are lightsabers.

Like before stated this summary isn't accurate. This is a compilation of five stories with the first two chapters being of the same characters and the remaining being one offs. Good quality and nice feel for my first Kuma manga.
Not what I expected

Uh... So..... TBH I bought this manga because of the cover and because of a video on TiikTok.... and yk I was super excited to read it.... I have to say ummm I didn't kinda like some of the stories but mostly the last one, I did not like how it ended and I wished so hard for them to break up so bad. Now the cover and the art are so cute and the pages are so smooth is my first time buying a manga with this types of pages and cover so yk I was happy. (if it wasn't because of the last story I think I would have 100% loved this book but oh well :""))
