Glad I picked it up! Don't judge a book by it's cov

by -

I was hesitant to buy just by the the title and the cover art isn't really my preferred style... but honestly this was a great purchase. It's really funny and cute. I preordered the next volume lol. Def recomend this series. This sorta reminds me of fun but dumb love. Give it a go!

Not bad so far, but too short to really judge

by -

I wish this had been twice the length it was - as it was, it felt too short to truly judge it.

Despite the kind of stupid premise (the "virginity makes the MC special" aspect was completely unnecessary), this actually wasn't too bad. The addition of telepathy allowed the author to make the story a little steamy without actually making Kurosawa come across as sexually overbearing - after all, he was unaware that Adachi could read his thoughts. And once Adachi realized that Kurosawa was genuinely attracted to him and also a decent guy, he struggled with the ethics of his ability and knowing the effect he had on Kurosawa.

Despite the stamp on the cover, there's no explicit content in this volume (one semi-steamy fantasy on Kurosawa's part, but it was just one panel and both characters were still clothed). That said, I wouldn't be surprised if future volumes are more explicit.

Lots of Fluff

by -

The idea of virginity and having special powers is not really necessary. Other than that, I love the plot and characters. It is not that long sadly. Their relationship is very consensual (which is a major thumbs up). The MC is adorable and the twos interactions are sweet.
It has a lot of fluff.

Sweet and Funny, Despite the Horrible Title

by -

I almost didn't pick this up because the title is so terrible and the premiss based on the title sounds horrible, but it's actually a very cute, funny, and sweet series so far. I pick up volumes 1-3 and I'm actually looking forward to the next volumes.

The main characters "magic" is just reading minds. This is used more to help him understand people, specifically Kurosawa. Adachi looks down on himself a lot. This is a slower paced series, but not horrible slow. I actually think the author has handled the pacing really well so far. Not to fast, not to slow.

Also, the author has a little Goddess of Love drawing after the first chapter that says: "Oh my. That poor dear is so very, very loved. But they haven't even noticed. I'll give them a Birthday present..." This helped frame, for me, what the story is and that it's a sweet series

Also, at least to volume 3, there is no explicit content. Which I prefer. Not exactly sure what makes this series rated M. It's closer to T+.
