Love this manga

by -

The story keeps on getting better. The drawings are really detailed and are creative. I actually like the main character in this shonen, where as in others not so much. Definitely will buy the next volumes once they are available.

Such a unique and amazing shonen

Chainsaw Man is really breaking the mold with its more mature themes and older cast of characters both things that you usually don't see in other shonen manga. The art is gritty and sometimes even surreal and im all for it. The story keeps on expanding in new and interesting directions and i can’t wait to see more about the devils and demons of this world. Highly recommended that people pick this title up if you're in the mood for a darker shonen series.

Best story and best art

I love this volume, especially because the cover is my fave character!!
This is a violent and sad story but the development is amazing and I'm invested in the characters. I obviously can't wait for the anime and I will be reading more of the author.

Don't Blink! Or You Will Get Cut!

by -

If last volume was the buildup, than this volume is the payoff when it comes to developing the characters in Squad 4 and testing their individual resolves. And following typical shounen structure, after a battle who needs rest? Its time to train for the next battle!
Fujimoto certainly does not hold back any punches when it comes to deadly stakes and fights.
If you didn't like the character of Aki already, this volume is where I began liking Aki a lot more.

Necessary Evils and Lots of Blood

by -

This volume raises the stakes, both physically and emotionally. New enemies force everyone to either up their game or quit. The characters begin to question who they are and what they risk their lives for. It still has that signature humor, so nothing is too heavy. An excellent addition.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Things took a turn and for the best, the actions the characters take is very relatable, but it can have a sad moment or two and still keep you pulled
