Nostalgic
by Anaika -
If you loved Cardcaptor Sakura this series is a nice nostalgic read. The art and tone of the story have the same feel as the original. Some of the action scenes can be a bit muddled at times in terms of the art, but overall it feels like the gap between the original series and the arc wasn't as long as the years it actually took. The plot is cute and there is a mystery unfolding as the story continues. The mystery is predictable at certain points, but there are a few plot lines regarding the mystery that I am not sure where they are going to take the story. If you love Cardcaptor Sakura or just want something cute to read I think it lives up to a sequel status, that does not disappoint in its execution.
Cardcaptor Sakura for the New Generation
by Margaret -
CLAMP returns to their masterpiece Cardcaptor Sakura with some brand new adventures and much more refined art than before. It makes me so happy that new fans and even some kids now are getting into this series. I hope this series lives up to the original to give a new generation the same joy I had getting into the original!
