Burn the Witch Limited Edition Blu-ray
About Burn the Witch Limited Edition Blu-ray
Burn the Witch Blu-ray contains episodes 1-3 of the anime directed by Tatsuro Kawano. This limited edition also includes a 12-page full-color booklet featuring character bios, an interview with Tatsuro Kawano, and more!
In this world, there is a “FRONT” side and a “REVERSE” side.
Historically 72% of all the deaths in London are related to dragons, fantastical beings invisible to the majority of the people. While unknown to most, some people have been standing up to these dragons.
Only inhabitants of Reverse London who live in the hidden “reverse” side of London can see the dragons. Even then, only a selected few become qualified enough as witches or wizards to make direct contact with them.
The protagonists of the story are witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind (WB), an organization for dragon conservation and management. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons within London on behalf of the people.

Just Buy the Standard Copy
by Tom -
Do not buy the limited edition. You are paying $10 plus dollars for 12 pages of paper but also a flimsy cardstock case and a disc identical to the original edition. To me, that is not worth the price for admission. I love the design but if someone were to breathe on it wrong, this paper case will fall to bits. Everytime I take it out to watch the thing I'm fighting not to rip it up putting it back in. I'm really disappointed in this quality and representation. And the twelve pages? Nothing new you won't find watching the OVA, itself, or looking up a wiki. Not worth it. Definitely buy the standard edition. I absolutely love "Burn the Witch" and I am excited to see if it continues on but this "Limited Edition" is just an easy cash grab from passionate fans.
In hindsight, I should've picked the standard edition.

Honestly can't say it's worth the extra money. The packaging features some nice artwork but is overall flimsy. Also, not to nitpick, but the 12-page book isn't quite 12 pages of content. The cover counts as page 1, and the side that was glued onto the stock is page 12.
LE is a waste, but good movie/OVA
by Todd -
The limited edition is such a waste, super disappointed in the packaging. the booklet is glued to the inside, it's a super thin digipak cardboard folded package, total joke. was expecting a bit more of a sturdy outer box especially for the price. pre-ordered it before there were actual photos, and paid the price. just get the normal version, LE is a waste of extra money. Enjoy the OVA/Movie though, fun characters and story, good animation, 4/5 on the actual feature.
Remorseful Buyer

Just buy the standard edition.
I'm giving giving the limited edition 1 star, I believe the OVA is 4 stars. I think this would make an interesting anime series or series of OVA's, wish there was more.
As for the limited edition, the outer case is basically cardstock with the edges folded in. The outer case and the disc case are a tight fit and when the disc case is put into the outer case the side pushes out every time. Trying to get everything back together is a chore if your trying not to damage anything. The supposed disc case is the same cardstock folded over and doubled, with a digipak glued in for the disc. The thin side or spine of the disc case isn't doubled and the outer image is starting to wear apart after opening 6 times. The 12 page booklet is glued to the side opposite the digipak, page 1 is the cover of the booklet and page 12 is the side glued to the case. The booklet is one of the lightest I've ever seen.
