Get the Hell out! No seriously get the hell out of N.A. and never come back!!!

Show is mediocre and nothing special. Anyone who supports Aniplex and their business model is a complete moron. You can purchase maybe up to 10 shows from funimation (depending on the price) for one of these. Why Aniplex USA is still here and functioning with pricing of this nature is one of the great mysteries of the universe. Little to no extras for a ton of money, that's how Aniplex operates. Fans must really like getting ripped off. Don't buy this, your better off with the $160.00!

I LOVE BLUE EXORCIST GO BUY IT😍😍😍😘😘

PLEASE DON'T PLAY ANY ATTENTION TO OTHER GUY REVIEW F.U. ANIPLEX USA. HOWEVER I AGREE ANIPLEX TO PRICEY WHICH WHY I RARELY BUY ANIPLEX BUT I DO HAVE ABOUT 20 DVD OR BLU-RAY BUT MOSTLY DVD. AS FOR BLUE EXORCIST I LOVE THIS SHOW,GLAD FOR SEASON 2 AND I LIKE THAT THERE IS NO EXTRA WOULD MAKE IT COST MORE. SECONDLY IF U LOOK AT THE PREVIOUS BLU-RAY RELEASE OF BLUE EXORCIST SET 1 & SET 2 IT WAS $139.98 EACH. AND THAT MEAN IT'S $80 FOR THIS VERSION FOR EACH THUS SAVING $120 TO GO BUY OTHER NON-ANIPLEX ANIME. U HAVE RIGHT TO GO RANT ANTI-ANIPLEX USA AS I HAVE A RIGHT TO SPEND MY MONEY ON WHATEVER I PLEASE. PLEASE DO NOT HATE THE SHOW HATE ANIPLEX USA PRICES IS WERE THE HATE SHOULD BE DIRECTED AT. I LIKE NO EXTRA DVD OR BLU-RAY STANDARD EDITION SETS AT LOWER PRICES THAN $120 WITH SUPERB PACKAGING AND CASES, SUPERB SOUND AND AUDIO IF ANIPLEX READ REVIEWS. IF LOWER PRICES TO LESS THAN $120 FOR COMPLETE SERIES I'LL BUY MORE OF YOUR STUFF.IF U LOVE THIS SHOW GO BUY IT IF U CAN AFFORD IT😊😇

Thank you, Aniplex

Rather excited to see this show finally getting another Blu-ray release. Yes, Aniplex prices are a bit much when buying anime, Though compared to the prices of set Two "$139.98" and the growing harder to find Set one which can go for "$285.00", this price for a complete series release is more than fine. Excited to finally have Blue Exorcist in my collection .

Needs movie too.

Love the show. Stoked that it's coming out in full season, but dropping this a star because the movie should have been included in it as with the case of SAO's season release..

Explanation as to why Aniplex Prices are so High

by

Firstly I'll elaborate on why Aniplex prices are so high. They are owned by owned by Sony Music Entertainment Japan and base their prices based upon the Japanese economy. Over here in the West and other parts of the globe those prices come out to be very high respectively. However, if you were to try to get them directly from Japan you'd likely pay a lot more. Since they are Japanese owned and market to us they already have a steady income of revenue to stay in business without having to rely upon us. Aniplex USA/America are only the distribution enterprise for Aniplex as a whole so they haven't a say in the pricing. They just distribute where ever retailers or online vendors require them to.

The Other Side Of The Story

by

Now don't get me wrong it's a lot of $ but when compared to it's previous Blu-ray release this deal is much more affordable and is the Complete Set along with OVA. All I can say is either you like the show enough to buy it or you don't. I'd just count our blessings we have industries that market and bring these great shows to the consumer market for our home entertainment usage. This isn't the first re-release Aniplex has launched that is a Complete Set so maybe these are their first steps towards a more affordable market to it's clientele the fans.

Blue Exorcist

by

I'm Giving This box set a 4 only because they dissapointed me by not including the movie with this. Other than that, price wise it's fair. The Orginal Limited Box sets are selling for 2-300+ so... 160 is better than paying that. Also, I Just saw The Orginal Limited sets 1-2 and Movie together for sale on eBay for 850. So do the math lol

Finally!

by

We North Americans FINALLY get a complete series release of Blue Exorcist. Okay, it's just the first season (26 episodes), but this was already released in the UK, Australia, and France. Sure, there are no extras (just a double-sided poster), but those would've just inflated the price.

The reason why you'd buy this is (A) if you don't already own the Blue Exorcist Blu-rays, or (B) if you want to watch all 26 episodes of Season 1 in one uninterrupted marathon. It's almost 10 hours; it's possible.

BS Question: Why are there 6 discs? Why not just 2 like the French release?
