About Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan Blu-ray

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan contains episodes 1-8 of the anime directed by Tsutomu Mizushima.

Imagine a world where the secret to immortality has been discovered, causing women to stop aging by the time they turn twelve. Sounds like it might be a perfect playground for a discoverer with less-than-wholesome interests, doesn't it? That's exactly why the Big Man Upstairs sends Dokuro-chan, one of his angelic assassins, into the past to "deal"with the sicko who messed with nature!

But Dokuro-chan decides instead to move in with her target, Sakura Kusakabe, and keep him too occupied to find eternal life. Funny enough, the path of non-violence leads to a fountain of blood, as Dokuro-chan accidentally kills Sakura on an almost-daily basis only to resurrect him with a magical chant moments later.

This Blu Ray contains the complete series in high definition with the original Japanese language with English subtitles, and the English dub!

A Laugh Out Loud Crude Comedy

by -

I was very impressed with this bluray release it had all the episodes including "Season 2" and the english dub had a great cast! A crude comedy that has all the randomness from students disappearing and becoming ghosts to turning in monkeys! The thing I liked about this re-release on bluray was unlike the previous dvd release it actually worked on my ps4 <3

Great short series to watch when you want some laughs

This release of dokuro chan is slightly distorted ( croping issue ) compared with the dvd special edition while this release is not a true 1080p remaster of the series you can expect video quality to be the same if not worse but like some reviewers have mentioned it will work on current hardware since apparently some people cant play the dvd version as for me I have been lucky and have no problem with either re leases

But the series it self is very good Dokuro's bludgeoning gag never gets old XD

overall despite its shortcomings I still prefer this version since its Blu ray format

I'm Dead, one of the most hilarous shows I've ever seen.

If you've seen Heaven's Lost Property this show is like that if the show was on some heavy drugs.

But it's so much more. The Violence is always just out of nowhere and random and other equally hilarious things happen to characters I don't want to spoil.

Then there's the reason the Angels are looking for our main man Sakura (yes his name is Sakura) which might be a little cringe for some and utterly hilarious to others.

If you need a laugh get this show and rewatch as needed. The only real issue this show has is that it's too short at only 6 episodes. I want more but there is no way anybody could get away with a show like this now.
