Short & Sweet

by

Lets kick it off with the small yet heavy chipboard box that works to the shows familiar design with its yellow & black color design & manga illustration style artwork. The front cover gives a good look at the main trio while the back cover delves into some of the supporting characters. For the video the ten episode series+OVA is split across two discs with five on the first & six on the second. As for the case their held in it stays true to the black & yellow theme with the main trio and some of the supporting characters as well as some art underneath the disc. Trust me when I say this the case is study considering I accidently dropped it from a high height. Then there's the booklet with the first manga chapter, colored artwork, character profile's, and lastly episode synopses. Blood Lad is a really unusual show. It's short and splendid. For those looking for something different where anything can happen this is right up your alley. A great comedy with a lot of laughs.
