Black Bullet Blu-ray
About Black Bullet Blu-ray
Black Bullet collection contains episodes 1-13 of the anime directed by Masayuki Kojima.
The Gastrea virus spreads like wildfire, causing each infected host to rapidly mutate, gaining new powers and abilities with every stage of development, even while they continue to attack, kill, and infect multiple new hosts. Unable to fight a pandemic enemy that turns defenders into adversaries, the shocked remnants of the human race are forced to retreat into cities surrounded by giant monoliths made of Varanium, one of the few materials that can stop the Gastrea.
Now mankind's last hope lies in the Cursed Children: young girls infected with the virus who have managed to retain a hold on their humanity. Paired with a partner, they alone have the strength to take on a Gastrea in one-on-one combat. But the very thing that gives them power is a ticking time bomb, so even as they protect humanity, they are also feared and shunned. Are they girls? Monsters? Or mankind's ultimate salvation?

A must watch

One of the best anime of it's season!
My little Model Mantis Initiator can't be this cute

Definitely worth watching. The action scenes are well animated and it's a nice mixture between cute, funny, and violent. Don't get too attached to any character though. Some of them do die and with what they hint at during the series it's very likely that none of them are going to have a happy end.
Passable action anime.

I liked the world that Black Bullet set up. The action scenes are well animated and the stories pace is set at a break neck speed from the first episode. Sadly I just could not get behind any of the characters. None of them came off as memorable and the pace of the story left little room for character motivations and back stories. It was fun to watch for what it was but I have seen this kind of anime done better. Still worth a watch if only for the action scenes alone.
I want more...
Fun, fast paced, action-packed, cute, cool, hilarious, and heartbreaking all in thirteen episodes. The main partnership of Rentaro and Enju is very easy to fall in love with, and many supporting characters are also easy to like. The villains were interesting whether they were despicable or sympathetic, and the world-building wasn't bad. It may not break the mold for shonen action series, but it still does it very well.
The reason I give this four stars instead of five is because the show is in desperate need of more backstory and a second season that I don't expect will happen. Guess I'll be getting the light novels now.
I would have written a longer review if the character amount let me
A loli anime with themes about discrimination and one of the most entertaining anime villains I have ever seen.
Few plotholes here and there, not the best anime ever but worth a watch
great blind buy
this was another blind buy that my friend promised to pay for if i didn't like it, this is worth watching if you like monsters, and I'd watch it over Attack on Titan any day of the week
Don’t let me get tainted little sister
If you love action and well animated graphics, not much plot involved other than a loli lover’s dream of becoming a big brother. This definitely will become your show.
