Really funny and coming of age story

When I first discovered this series from funimation and watch it, I really grew into it. Its manga gives off like it was drawn by calligraphy. There are also some chapters that weren't adapted into the anime.
Barakamon

I LOVE this series. It has quickly become one of my all time favorite. I have to admit that before I read Barakamon, I disliked slice of lifes but Barakamon is so hilarious! The art is beautiful, some of the scenes are really gorgeous (they sparkle), the characters are funny, caring, and charming, and the stories are interesting too, they range from simple every day things to growth in characters, with lots of small town charm. I cannot stress enough how enjoyable this series is. Give it a try.
A must-read slice of life comedy

Barakamon is an all around great comedy manga. The jokes are well-timed and fall back a lot on the charisma of the characters, which through their different unique quirks and interactions with each other draw you in closer and make you feel right at home. A great read with great pacing and a surprisingly deep exploration of the artist and what it takes to be one
