Bakuman

by -

I've been wondering whether to give this manga a try for a while now. Learning about the manga making process seems interesting, if done right. With the latest Viz media sale I decided to give it a try and I have to say it was more interesting then I thought. It's more than just the process of making manga--it has a story to it. Within the story you learn a bit about the manga making process but not enough that your eyes cross over. It took me a few pages to get into this series. The main character, Moritaka Mashiro, takes awhile to jump on board with the other one and at first I wondered how'd these two could work together but in the middle their friendship takes off and so does the momentum of the story.

A Great Series for any beginning manga reader
