It was alright...

by -

This show was alright. The story was interesting and though it has issues, which I will get into in a bit, thankfully I never found myself bored by it. Also, the music was great. The English dub had a few parts that had me laughing out loud because of how awful it was but as a whole it was good, and that's saying something considering this was dubbed back in the 90's. Where the OVA suffers though is in it's length. It was pretty obvious that this 4 episode OVA was cut from a much longer story and because of that the pacing is extremely rushed and all over the place. it jumps from location to location with very little explanation and characters Just show up and we're expected to know who they are and care when they get hurt or killed. Like I said, it was alright but honestly I think it just needed a few more episodes to tell the story better.
