BTOOOM! Manga Volume 1
About BTOOOM! Manga Volume 1
BTOOOM! Manga Volume 1 features story and art by Junya Inoue.
By all counts, Ryouta Sakamoto is a loser when he's not holed up in his room, bombing things into oblivion in his favorite online action RPG. But his very own uneventful life is blown to pieces when he's abducted and taken to an uninhabited island. He soon learns the hard way that he's being pitted against others just like him in a explosives-riddled death match!
How could this be happening? Who's putting them up to this? And why? The name, not to mention the objective, of this very real survival game is eerily familiar to Ryouta, who has mastered its virtual counterpart: BTOOOM! Can Ryouta still come out on top when he's playing for his life?!

Battle Royale with Bombs
by something526
This book serves as an introduction to one of the best series that is out today. It is about these people who get transferred to an island, no clue why initially, and they have a sack of bombs beside them. Every person has different types of bombs; the main character figures out that this is like the virtual reality game that he plays all of the time. He figures that it is a battle to the death. This series is great for suspense and action lovers. Warning: There is some fan service of a high school student. I would give this book/series so far an 8/10.
Btooom! is a good survival series definitely worth checking out.

If you like suspenseful survival comics or shows I would suggest giving Btooom! a chance. The art is really good and detailed and after about 4 or 5 volumes it really started to have a similar feel as The Walking Dead tv show although there are no zombies in this series.

An Amazing Series
by Bradley
The first volume is a great introduction into the series. If you have already watched the anime, I highly recommend restarting from the beginning since a few parts weren't shown. Overall it's a great start and/or reintroduction into an amazing series.
