Very enjoyable

This is about a girl playing a VRMMORPG who never played games before. She plays the game as a novice and there is a lot of humor from that. There are also a bunch of good observational jokes about MMORPGs in general. The Main Character is overpowered and constantly acquires new even more powerful abilities, but this is done in an enjoyable way. I have re-watched this a few times, it is very re-watchable. If you enjoyed season 1 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, I think you would enjoy this.
The Nicest People You'll Find Online

A girl joins her friend playing a vrmmo, and makes new friends along the way. Everyone is nice and helpful, and all their enemies are more like friendly rivals. It's far lower stakes than, say, Sword Art Online- and also far more pleasant.
+The animation is well done
+The characters are fun
+Practically no fan service(there is an obligatory beach episode, but that's as close as it gets)
-not all of the op skills Maple and friends gain are explained very well, if you're the kind of person who wants to know why they can do what they do
-the twins are not fleshed out as well as most of the other characters, since they are introduced later, right before the final arc
-part of the story is told through messages on a forum at the end of episodes, and it moves very fast; have your pause button ready!
-I've heard nothing about a season 2 yet.
All in all, a fun little show.

The mc is a newbie to gaming but learns fast and becomes op. I've thoroughly enjoyed this series and have rewatched it a few times. I rated a solid 5 here and would rate a 9 on a 10 scale that's how much I enjoyed maple and her friend Sally playing the game. The English dub is very good and very little fan-service I'd say you could watch this with a bit older kids.
