Got better as it moved along

I originally purchased this series because I loved the Tyrant Falls in Love and figured the author can write yaoi so I'll give it a try. The first volume and main couple are just boring. The premise that the main character's face doesn't show his emotions gets old quick and isn't very compelling. Fortunately the 2nd couple Kagami and Sagara are much more interesting. They are first introduced in volume 2 and get a lot of coverage throughout the rest of the series, redeeming the series IMO. So I would definitely recommend this series for fans of The Tyrant falls in Love.
