He earns his OP

by -

I went into this series not expecting much, your typical isekai fair... boy gets transported to a different world, boy gets some sort of OP powers... and let the anime commence. Thankfully I was mostly wrong, he does get transported to another world, and yes he does become OP, but that power is not given to him, he earns it. Which makes his attitude and actions feel appropriate in most of the situations he is put in. He is pragmatic and tends to not stick his neck out except for his companions, he also goes for the overkill to ensure victory. Which at times makes him look like a jerk to others around him but is completely understandable given the road he was forced to travel.
I only hope that a second season gets announced for this one.

Best way to kill a dragon?

by -

This is most definitely one of the greatest series I've seen in the 25 years I've been watching anime! The artwork, the characters, the plot, the world-building, the action, and the cute girls are all God-Tier with this anime! Highly, highly recommended!

Breaks all the rules, but still good

This anime breaks all the rules that I would consider rules that separates trash Isekai from good Isekai. However, it is still extremely fun to watch and I consider this a good Isekai. This is mainly because I enjoy the characters so much that I don't care if their abilities and traits were unearned. I read the LNs after watching it and it does fill in a lot of the gaps, but there still is a lot of extremely unbelievable and under earned (in terms of the world the story takes place) abilities and new character traits. I've rewatched this a few times and it was fun to watch every time.

I wish it was longer!

by -

It is an isekai anime but instead of one hero it’s an entire class of 'heroes'. The main character is an anti hero he doesn’t care about or wants to save the world he was dragged to. He just wants to go home and take his harem and daughter with him and will kill whatever gets in his way be that gods, monsters, demons, even his own classmates! This season was so awesome but very basic,I wish there was more. I was able to finish it in 2 days. It’s short but definitely something you should watch, it’s not the standard isekai anime that’s been spammed out the last 2-3 years.

Show Features Bad CGI along with Stolen Plot/Characterizations

I can understand why many feel "Arifureta" is a great show. The series steals the plot of Naofumi being betrayed and must climb back from despair ala "The Rise of the Shield Hero". Takes the eating animals concept to gain powers from "That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime". Steals the character of Edward Elric who loses arm, and creates weapons/equipment with new metal arm from "Full Metal Alchemist". Steals the Loli-Vampire character of Shinobu (Kiss-Shot Acerola Orion Heart Under Blade) from the "Monogatari" series. Borrows the similar harem/comedy aspects from "Is it Wrong to try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon?!" serial. Then in episode six regarding Bunny-men, it's theme is copied from "Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu" Where Sousuke trains wimpy rugby team into fearsome razors. Funny in "FMP" but weak in "A" with the "Kill Monsters or I'll Kill You Instead" garbage.

This show has no creativity, no originality, and certainly doesn't deserve five stars.
