Nice but flawed book.

by

I would have usually given this a 4 out of 5. Down a notch cause of some of the crazy reviews they give. I have two different copies of Anime encyclopedia Third Edition be careful if you buy. Its not design very well. The cover can come ripped off the rest of it. The cover attached to main body by a thin a piece of paper. Reading through it cause it to rip not once but twice. But other then that its very nice book on anime through the history and some niece pieces on anime industry.

Great addition to one's personal library

I was impressed with how fast this item arrived and it was well wrapped in packing paper. The original Anime Encyclopedia was my favorite reference book at the college library, so I'm thrilled to own both the second and now the third edition. Some of the reviews are short, and some make you wonder if they were watching the same show that you remember, but it's still a fun read and most of the episode counts are accurate. I have yet to have any trouble with the cover, although I was surprised that there were no pictures in this edition.
