About Amagami SS Complete Series DVD
Amagami SS Complete Series set contains episodes 1-24 plus two specials.
Junichi Tachibana has never been lucky in love. Ever since his date stood him up on Christmas Eve two years ago, he's pretty much given up on the whole idea; however, there are quite a few girls who would all make wonderful partners for Junichi if he would only open his eyes. Could he have struck up a meaningful relationship with any of them if he'd done the right things and said the right words?
Well, it's time to find out as Fate steps in and decides to see what would happen if Junichi were to snap out of his funk and take a chance. It's a whole new twist on the idea of love at sixth or seventh sight, and if one boy and a whole lot of different girlfriends-to-be sounds like a lot of wishful thinking... well, it is! But wishes have a habit of coming true and the statistical odds are definitely on Junichi's side as the guy without a date's luck with the ladies goes from bad to multi-verse!

After having his heart broken on Christmas Eve, Junichi, a 2nd year high student, is getting another chance at love. This anime is based on a PS2 game series only released in Japan. What's truly amazing for this anime is each girl, Junichi meets, has their own set of episodes on 1 of the 6 discs. He vows to make the next Christmas Eve better, and meets one of the girls. As that girl's episodes move on, each of them develops a relationship with him, and it ends with Junichi and his new girlfriend spending time at the Founder's Festival held every Christmas Eve. When you put in a new disc, it's like hitting the restart button in a game, and it starts with Junichi getting dumped again. I've never seen an anime done like this, and it's kind of neat. As I said the stories are great, animation is nice, music is good, a little fanservice, and only in Japanese with English subtitles. A very interesting anime series.
Each girl gets the spotlight!

In a lot of harems you see the protagonist fawn over the cast and show little to no dedication to just one girl. This series give you 4 episode arcs of beginning to end of their relationships. It takes place where the cast goes to school, so all the girls make appearances throughout the show. It was fun to see what roles each girl took, and what events changed depending on who was the star. Out of the 6 girls, there was only one that left me less than satisfied. It was more of a bittersweet feeling. The second season appears to extend the respective arcs, so I am looking forward to the final endings there.
