Movie Vs Manga

by -

i basically got this because i am sure i will love the manga more than the live action movie...

reasons for that?
1- Manga might not show emotions as much as the movie, but if you are used to read Manga you will feel how good it's compared to the movie
2- might have scenes not included in the movie
3- Original story with no editing or changing

and here you go... it's really worth it, i prefer it over the movie..

A Manga adaptation of the 2004 Light Novel

by

This manga is NOT the original work - it is an adaptation of the Light Novel by the same name. I am kind of shocked at how many of the reviewers here mention this as the original work that inspired Edge of Tomorrow without doing any fact-checking. The novel is outstanding, and is also available on rightstuf. This manga adaptation, while good, feels rushed and does not grasp the subtleties of the original story and characters. The art is very good though, and it is definitely still a fun read, but I would definitely recommend the original work over this version.

A Bit Bulky, But It Is Good

by -

The product arrived in new condition, as advertised. The book itself is fairly large, making it a little bit hard to hold when reading. Content-wise, it was very good, I would recommend it to people who enjoy a lot of action. Overall it was a great product that met pretty much all expectations.

All You Need to Know about "All You Need Is Kill"

by

If your into Science Fiction then this is a must read for you.
This is a original story by Hiroshi Sakurazak's Novel "All You Need Is Kill. It isn't based off of Edge of Tomorrow also know as Live, Die, Repeat but actually the other way around. The Storyboards are handled by Ryosuke Takeuchi. The original illustrations have been done by Yoshitoshi ABe who was responsible for Serial Experiments Lain's character designs. As for the artwork Takeshi Obata who is prominently known for his works such as Death Note & Bakuman which is what caught my attention to this Manga.

As a Omnibus your getting the full story, start to end. It's all condensed into one well put together book which makes this a great purchase incentive. The covering is a nice sturdy almost lament like texture. You don't have to worry about smudging or leaving sweaty fingerprint marks. The pages flip easily and have a very nice texture for easy turning. Your pages will not stick together I promise you.

Great Sci-fi manga

by

All you need is kill is one of my favorite mangas. It is disappointingly short but that's the only thing wrong. The characters are great and the drawing quality is fantastic. The main character was very believable and the emotion coming from him and the female main character is top notch .Must read if you are into Sci-fi manga.

great buy

by

I don't usually like mecha, but this one hit the spot for me. i was a little worried going into the whole "reset after dying" idea since i've seen some cheesy stuff like that in movies and whatnot, but it was very well done in this manga. and the main character wasn't your usual helpless dude who suddenly becomes extremely skilled; he trained, practiced and learned a lot. oh and the art is amazing- done by the man Takeshi Obata himself(Death Note creator) anways i think this is a great read for anyone who likes fairly short but action/violence packed stories with some psychological, mystery and "time travel" themes, and the book despite being a 500+ page omnibus, was pretty easy to hold and had a soft, flexible spine so you barely have bend it to read and view the inner edge panels.

Awesome sci-fi war story

by -

I first read this when Shonen Jump went digital and did the Alpha series. I like this story. This book was based on the novel and it got adapted to a movie called The Edge of Tomorrow. The art is done by the same creators who did Death Note.
