Seven Criminals Take on a Job that goes Awry

by -

I enjoyed this series influenced by some of Hollywood's most violent action films of yesteryear...most notably "Reservoir Dogs". In fact, 11 of 12 episodes are named after these iconic violent action films. In addition, this is the 'uncut' version from the edited scenes from streaming service.

A Cyberpunk setting, with heavy metal type music, and lots of profanity to coincide with the extreme violence makes this anime show only for mature audiences. Features minor character building as it's more about the action, mystery, dark humor, plot twists, and death scenes than anything else. Yes, while some sequences are disturbing, I still found the show a staggering visual wild ride of action from start to finish that basically pays homage to Quentin Tarantino.

Chipboard box has a metallic foil design in spots to simulate the city lights, the seven character art cards include a metallic look to them as well, and the acrylic standees of 'Shark & Bunny' was certainly new/different.
