I bought this series abroad, and it was very good because it has a great plot, and decent characters, and a wonderful Main character.
Gotta watch it.

Hit or Miss at points

I just recently picked this up with RS 31st Birthday sale..
After just recently watching the title from start to finish.. I am left in a middle ground.. wanting to see more of it.. and at the same time not totally sold on this series.
At points this series was pretty good.. while others not so much.. There are several small story arcs, and not enough time IMO to flesh out the characters before the series finale. And because of this quasi rushed story flow I think the series suffers.
Hopefully more comes out.. but not likely.
Don't let episode 1 fool you, it is a good show.

The series, taken as a whole, is a story of redemption. The first episode goes a bit too far to show how far the male protagonist has fallen and you may hate him, as I did, by the end of that episode. But by the very next episode, the story takes a sharp turn into interesting.
Afterward, the show starts to get into it's stride trying intrigue, humor, and action in equal parts. It is interesting also to see a powerful main character, with faults and certainly imperfect.
So I can definitely recommend this as "Shelf-Worthy". It definitely leaves you wanting more, which is a good thing.
Enjoyable

Main character is very hilarious, but at times can be very cynical. Seriousness reminds me of Archer from Unlimited Blade Works, because of his stance on the idea of a hero of justice. Goofiness reminds me the Game Creation Club from D-Frag. Hilarious anime to watch, especially for the mornings.
