Edge of My Seat the Whole Way Through

Akame ga Kill 10 is (so far) the best volume in an already fantastic series. The dark fantasy has a knack for drawing in the reader with it's emotional scenes, this one being no exception while it takes you on an emotional roller coaster, in a good way. This volume has less of a focus on Night Raid and instead focuses more on the internal problems between the empire's new faction The Wild Hunt, led by Minister Honest's son, and Esdeath's Jaegers. That's not to say Akame and her friend's are not in the story but it's a nice to change of pace to view the internal struggles of the empire. This volume will make you smile, cry (almost), feel satisfied, before it's final three panels leave you wanting more, and circling your calendars for the release of the next volume.
