Good show

by -

The first thing you've got to mention when talking about this show is the CGI animation that is used. If you've never heard of this show before now I would highly suggest looking up some images to see if the CGI is for you.

With this set, you get three blu ray discs. Two discs contain the show, and one containing the movie that came out before the show. The movie is part of a three part movie series that tells the same story as the show. You're not going to get else from watching the movie, but it's nice to have.

Overall this is a decent set and I would recommend it over the limited edition set unless you really love this show.

From a fan of the manga

When I first heard about an anime adaptation for Ajin I was excited. Had my fingers crossed it would be studio BONES but I found out Polygon pictures was behind it. This is the same studio that brought us the Knights of Sidonia anime.

This is a long way of saying the animation is in 3D

But the animation is fantastic. I was really impressed. There can be some wonky moments here and there, but over all it's is great. Sadly, some of the gore and more violent art is left out from the manga. The soundtrack is exciting as well. The opening, ending, and theme always give me goosebumps.

The story follows the manga very closely but has a few changes. I don't want to go into detail because of spoilers. Over all though if you're a fan of the manga then this is definitely worth checking out. If you enjoy the anime definitely read the manga.

This is an excellent thriller and the action scenes are so well thought out and executed in both the anime and manga.

Watch this show. It's fantastic!
