About Accomplishments of the Duke’s Daughter Manga Volume 1

Accomplishments of the Duke's Daughter Manga Volume 1 features story by Reia and art by Suki Umemiya.

Iris, an otome game addict with no time for romance, gets hit by a truck after getting out of work–but instead of dying, she finds herself in the world of a game she’d played just hours earlier. However, she’s not reborn as the game’s protagonist, the main heartthrob of the harem. Instead, she starts her new life as the antagonist, right at the moment she’s being sent to live in a nunnery–for the rest of her life!

Great manga! A must buy!

by

I have always been looking forward for the translation of this manga. The main character is witty and smart, and she deserves the accomplishment that she receives. The first few chapters establish this premise. It might go into more details than necessary about taxes at the beginning, but it really picks up afterwards. Give the first volume at least a try!

Quite enjoyable

Much like the reviewer above I really enjoyed this title. This was a surprise pick for me and I found it to be both lovely to look at and quite the enjoyably intelligent read. I was pleasantly surprised and am quite looking forward to the next volume!

Development Manga

by

The main idea of this series is that a person reborn in their dating game world decides to abandon the love intrigue at the academy and instead find a way to not die. Being a good person, she persuades her dad the duke that she should run their fiefdom. She uses her knowledge to economically develop the fief and improve her peoples lives. It has a subplot of how the hero of her dating game is actually a dope and causes people around her to act stupid while the villainess (the main character) is good and improves things around her.

It is a more common subversion these days, but well done. The main character is a hard worker and uses her smarts not some secret power that makes her invincible. If you are looking for overpowered heroes, choose another series. If you like a person using their smarts to make the world better, this series is a great choice.
